Executive Team

Ryan W. Decker

Ryan W. Decker is Chief Executive Officer of Cramer Decker and is responsible for the direction, operations, financial management and strategic business initiatives of the company. Mr. Decker oversees Cramer Decker’s three operating divisions, which manage its 16 proprietary brands.

Mr. Decker joined Cramer Decker in 2002, was named President in 2004, and Chief Executive Officer in 2010. Under his leadership, Cramer Decker has launched eleven new brands, completed two acquisitions, opened four new operations facilities, expanded distribution nationally and globally, and increased revenues fourfold.

Mr. Decker joined Cramer Decker in 2002, was named President in 2004, and Chief Executive Officer in 2010. Under his leadership Cramer Decker has launched 11 new brands, completed multiple acquisitions, opened 4 new operations facilities, expanded distribution nationally and globally, and increased revenues fourfold.

Prior to joining Cramer Decker, Mr. Decker spent 6 years as an associate in two large, national law firms where Mr. Decker’s legal practice focused on commercial transactions, including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, contracts and financial reorganizations.

Mr. Decker earned his Juris Doctor from the Villanova University School of Law, Villanova, Pennsylvania in 1997 where he was Managing Editor of the Villanova Law Review, and received his undergraduate degree from Colgate University, Hamilton, New York in 1994.

Mr. Decker is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the California Coast Chapter of Young President’s Organization, a global organization of CEO’s under the age of 50.  Mr. Decker is also the former President of the Board of Directors of Community Service Programs, one of California’s largest independent non-profit agencies, which actively assists more than 130,000 troubled and at-risk youth in Orange County, California each year through the operation of youth shelters, intervention, counseling and assistance programs.

Paul P. Cramer

Paul P. Cramer is President of the Industrial Gas and Cryogenic Division at Cramer Decker. With more than 22 years of experience in the industrial gases industry, Mr. Cramer has served in many positions at Cramer Decker, including Territory Sales Manager, Division Sales and Marketing Manager and Vice President.

During Mr. Cramer’s tenure at Cramer Decker, the Industrial Gas and Cryogenic Division grew from a basic wholesale distributor to a full line supplier and manufacturer of Cramer Decker’s own proprietary products and brands, quadrupling total division sales. Most products have become industry leaders elevating the Cramer Decker brand to the pinnacle market position.

Mr. Cramer’s most recent accomplishment is the 2008 development and launch of Cramer Decker’s brand of cylinder valves named Harrison Worldwide, LLC. Historically, the competitive landscape has been led by legacy companies with little room for entry. Harrison’s market position today has become well-accepted and the growth of this company has doubled year‑over-year. As a result, Harrison is the fastest growing compressed gas valve company in the global gas market today.

Scott M. Decker

Scott M. Decker is President and Founder of MERET and Cramer Decker Medical, and is currently responsible for the direction, management and strategic business development of Cramer Decker’s medical-related businesses. For 10 years Mr. Decker served as the Chief Executive Officer for MERET and Cramer Decker Medical before merging the business with Cramer Decker in 2010. With over 15 years of experience in the medical respiratory and emergency response markets, Mr. Decker is a proven entrepreneur that has developed the medical division from the ground up, personally designing and developing the product lines and marketing strategies for both MERET and Cramer Decker Medical.

Scott M. Decker is President and Founder of MERET and Cramer Decker Medical, and is currently responsible for the direction, management and strategic business development of Cramer Decker’s medical-related businesses. For 10 years Mr. Decker served as the Chief Executive Officer for MERET and Cramer Decker Medical before merging the business with Cramer Decker in 2010. With over 15 years of experience in the medical respiratory and emergency response markets, Mr. Decker is a proven entrepreneur that has developed the medical division from the ground up, personally designing and developing the product lines and marketing strategies for both MERET and Cramer Decker Medical. Mr. Decker has a diverse analytical background in three dimensional hydro geophysics, entrepreneurship and executive management.

Mr. Decker was awarded a Master of Science in geophysics from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science from Bucknell University.  He participates on the Vistage CEO Advisory Board and maintains an active role in EO Entrepreneur’s Organization.

Charlie Bush

Charlie Bush is President of the Watersports Division at Cramer Decker, leading the company’s three scuba brands, Sherwood Scuba, Genesis Scuba and AKONA Adventure Gear. With more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience, Mr. Bush has worked as a sales executive and sales manager in several industries prior to joining Cramer Decker. He provides extensive experience in the wholesale to retail sales commerce chain.

Charlie Bush is President of the Watersports Division at Cramer Decker, leading the company’s three scuba brands, Sherwood Scuba, Genesis Scuba and AKONA Adventure Gear. With more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience, Mr. Bush has worked as a sales executive and sales manager in several industries prior to joining Cramer Decker. He provides extensive experience in the wholesale to retail sales commerce chain.

Mr. Bush earned his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego and a Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University.  He has served on the Board of Directors for DEMA (Dive Equipment Marketing Association), where he was a member of the Executive Board for two years.  He is very active in youth sports and has coached several hundred children in soccer, basketball, and baseball over the last twelve years. He has also served as the president of the Pastoral Council of his local parish church.

Ron Barnett

Ron Barnett is Vice President of Sales for Cramer Decker’s Industrial Division, and also serves as Vice President of Sales for Harrison Worldwide, LLC. With more than 25 years of experience in sales and sales management, Mr. Barnett has worked at the executive sales level with such Fortune 100 and 250 companies as Honeywell International and the Stanley Works. In addition to a broad sales background, he also provides an extensive background in product development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate turn-a-rounds, and marketing.

Mr. Barnett also founded Cardiff Sales International, an import and export sales company based in Southern California, and previously served as President of Orbital Holdings, Inc

Mr. Barnett also founded Cardiff Sales International, an import and export sales company based in Southern California, and previously served as President of Orbital Holdings, Inc. While at Orbital, Mr. Barnett led the company from a small niche player to an industry-leading manufacturer, supplying the consumer electronics market. Mr. Barnett has been instrumental in launching multimillion dollar product lines and brands into the hardware home center industry with such companies as Lowes and the Home Depot, and also with power retailers such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Costco Wholesale.

Mr. Barnett earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Trinity University and has been a guest sales instructor at Western Kentucky University Graduate School. He is a member of The Knights of Columbus and has served as an Assistant Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America.

Douglas Merker

Douglas (Doug) Merker is Vice President of Sales for Cramer Decker’s Medical Division. He oversees the field sales and customer service for the homecare respiratory and MERET emergency medical services groups. Prior to joining Cramer Decker, Mr. Merker served in a number of executive management and sales positions at leading medical companies such as Karl Storz Endoscopy, the world’s largest privately held medical device manufacturer, Optronics Engineering, a leading manufacturer of digital imaging systems used in biomedical research and semiconductor manufacturing, and Bausch and Lomb.

Mr. Merker holds a Master of Business Administration in management from Baldwin Wallace College and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from John Carroll University.

Douglas (Doug) Merker is Vice President of Sales for Cramer Decker’s Medical Division. Mr. Merker holds a Master of Business Administration in management from Baldwin Wallace College and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from John Carroll University. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Elephant Population Management Program, a non‑profit, international collaboration of wildlife specialists, veterinarians and industry partners whose mission is to provide wildlife managers with a safe, effective, non-lethal and humane tool for managing their free-ranging African elephant populations.

Larry Harper

Larry Harper is Vice President of Sales for Cramer Decker’s Water sports Division. With more than 20 years of experience in Sales and General Management, Mr. Harper has worked with companies such as Warner Bros. Mattel, GTM Sportswear, and Nike. Mr. Harper was responsible for leading Nike’s US Regional business which accounted for over a billion dollars in sales.

Larry Harper is Vice President of Sales for Cramer Decker’s Water sports Division. With more than 20 years of experience in Sales and General Management, Mr. Harper has worked with companies such as Warner Bros. Mattel, GTM Sportswear, and Nike. Mr. Harper was responsible for leading Nike’s US Regional business which accounted for over a billion dollars in sales.

Mr. Harper earned his Bachelor’s degree at Miami University (OH) where he earned all Conference and All American honors in Football, he also received his MBA from the University of Redlands.

Selected as an Outstanding Young Man of America (American Jaycees), he was also instrumental in developing a mentoring program for at risk children in Orange County CA. and served on non-profit boards in Portland and Chicago.

Paul Montesano

Paul Montesano is the Vice President of Operations for Cramer Decker and manages the Supply Chain, Procurement and Warehouses in Santa Ana and Irvine, California and Jessup, Maryland. Mr. Montesano brings more than 20 years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations Management and has worked primarily in the aerospace and defense industries.

Paul Montesano is Vice President of Operations for Cramer Decker and manages the Supply Chain, Procurement and Warehouses in Santa Ana and Irvine, California and Jessup, Maryland. Mr. Montesano brings more than 20 years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations Management and has worked primarily in the aerospace and defense industries at such companies as PCC Aerostructures, RBC Transport Dynamics, Lisi Aerospace  and Fairchild Aerospace.

Mr. Montesano earned his bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey.  He also holds a CPIM certification from the APICS organization and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the APICS Orange County Chapter for the past 15 years.  APICS is the premier organization for the study of operations and supply chain management.  He is also a mentor for students in operations classes at Cal State Univ – Fullerton.

Mr. Montesano is also very active in coaching youth sports over the past 10 years for baseball and football.  He has also coached at the high school varsity level prior to coaching the youth teams in Fountain Valley, Ca.

Rudy Noriega

Rudy Noriega is Vice President of Finance & Administration for Cramer Decker. Mr. Noriega brings more than 14 years of experience in the Finance and Accounting field, primarily working in the electronics manufacturing industry.

Rudy Noriega is Vice President of Finance & Administration for Cramer Decker. Mr. Noriega brings more than 14 years of experience in the Finance and Accounting field, primarily working in the electronics manufacturing industry. Prior to joining Cramer Decker, Mr. Noriega was the Controller for FEI-Zyfer Inc., a subsidiary of Frequency Electronics Inc., publicly traded on the NASDAQ. FEI-Zyfer’s largest customer was the Department of Defense for the US Government. His experience covers Sarbanes-Oxley 404 implementation, working with the Defense Contract Management Agency, Defense Contract Audit Agency, International Organization for Standards, and ensuring that the company’s financial statements adhere to GAAP standards. In addition to his Controller responsibilities at FEI-Zyfer, Mr. Noriega also oversaw the Human Resources, Sales Administration, and Facilities Management departments.

Mr. Noriega earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and a MBA from Chapman University. In his spare time, Mr. Noriega enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters. Mr. Noriega also plays in baseball and basketball leagues throughout the county and also coaches his oldest daughter in tennis.
